Rocked the house!

March 31st, 2008

This weekend was a blast. I love weddings- adore my clients and I love a good party. I have had the opportunity to work within a variety of venues and formats. This weekend was a Bat Mitzvah. Ten months in the making, for me. My young client was such a joy to work with. Creative, smart with a little sass (which I love). This Saturday we ROCKED the house— Hard Rock Cafe. We took up the entire top floor and had every interactive game while munching on each delicious bite of homey Americana at it’s best. I’m looking forward to my little dear growing-up. I can see a sweet sixteen, graduations and a beautiful bride in the future. What a kick!

House of Rock n’ Roll

August 30th, 2007

To get inspiration for an upcoming event I went right to the source, the Bat Mitzvah girl. This girl, with charming style, has promised that dancers won’t be needed as she can get the party started. After site searching for this March ‘08 event at the upscale Luxe on Sunset and close contender Hotel Angelino in Brentwood, we contracted with the Hard Rock Café. With the entire mezzanine all to our own, we’re putting together an Old Time Rock n’ Roll party. How awesome would a checkered dance floor be in the middle of this Hollywood music museum? So we’re all systems go — first with the timeline (to keep everyone focused and relaxed), then the venue, and we’re off to book a Red Cheese Photo booth and a Las Vegas D.J. who can really bring down “The House of Rock n’ Roll”.
