An eco-friendly recessional

April 29th, 2010

Are you thinking about opting out of the traditional petal toss during your recessional? Well, you can still keep that sweet, fun moment by using confetti! Confetti is always a party favorite and great for photos. Now there is eco-friendly confetti, so no more worrying about that messy aftermath. The confetti is water-soluble and biodegradable, so no harm to the environment or animals. Either wash it down for a fast clean up or let nature take its course. To continue with the eco theme, you can also use eco-friendly tossing cones. Check out Ecoparti and Beau-Coup for some fun options. Also, check out these cute packaging ideas! You can use glassine bags or vellum paper for making these sweet recyclable pouches.

Have you ever thought of eating your dinner off of fallen leaves? No, didn’t think so. Neither had I until I found VerTerra Dinnerware. This single use dinnerware made from fallen palm leaves looks cool and feels kinda neat. If you are planning your wedding and thinking of eco-alternatives this might be a good fit for you. One benefit is the cost, at ¢28 a plate you are not going to break the bank being environmentally conscience (which does seem to be the case most of the time).  Bonus Note: they offer light and dark tones
