For that vintage touch? Take a look at their collection of antique, mercury vases and votives (Example Photos Below). Also, they carry great chandeliers, Candelabras, and lighting options to create a romantic and intimate feeling. For that rustic, modern feel look at their bamboo, willow, and wood collection. Their “natural pots” and boxed vases are stunning. Do you have a tree as a focal point at your wedding or an aisle that needs sprucing? These boxwood wreaths and balls (Photos Below) will make great additions. Recommended for indoors, though they can make it outside for the wedding day! ;)

Furthermore, known for their garden supplies, Jamali Garden will provide any green thumb with all the essentials to a magical landscape.

Light Up the Night

August 30th, 2007

Light Up the Night. Have you ever walked into a ballroom and thought this is lovely and maybe too bright? Seeing a venue during the day, when your event will take place in the evening, means you must have a second look. Be sure to peak in on the lighting at night. Your wedding planner and on-site professional can certainly dim those crystal chandeliers but the medium between bright and warm can be a challenge. With a little extra budget consideration you can have the room lit up like a swanky NYC nightclub or add the golden hue of a ballroom. It doesn’t need to be in excess to touch that part of you that wants the ballroom to feel that was created just for you. In every magazine, whether it be In Style or Grace Ormond Wedding, you’ll see each photo has been created with adjusted lighting and special touches. Also consider the request for candles, just that, a request. Know that if you envision tea lights or candelabras many sites (especially Santa Monica) have open flame restrictions. Add this special bit to your budget and you just might find that a little light goes quite a long way.
