Seating Cards, Simple
July 22nd, 2009
I really love this look for two great reasons. The first is that it’s visually appealing. The second is that guests can find their name right away.
I know that it’s easy to overlook seating cards; you’re busy the few weeks before the wedding. Unfortunately, they often end up looking like after-thoughts. Do consider that each-and-every-guest stops at this focal point before before taking their seat. So, to me they are not only important but should also fit the feel of your wedding.
This photo is a great idea, clean simple and easy. Another idea is the oversized chalkboard neatly printed for guests to read. A welcome with photos lined up on ribbons or stung in between trees could also be a great idea. The list truly does go on and the opportunity to say “please, take your seat and welcome to dinner” will help your guests feel comfortable.
