Hair & Make-up Preview Sessions (5 fast tips!)

One of the most important and fun times of the wedding planning process are the Hair and Make-up Trial Appointments. You get a sneak peek on how you’ll look on your big day. It’s the bride’s paparazzi day, so appearance is important and so is being confident. Lately, our brides have been booking a second trial because either they are having second thoughts about their look or didn’t have an overall great experience. It’s such a bummer to us because trials can be expensive and we don’t want our brides to get discouraged.

So brides listen up! Here are some great tips to make sure you have an overall lovely and comfortable trial. One of our faves, owner Jaimi Brooks of Fiore Beauty has a few tips.

1) Come ready to your trial with visual inspiration (magazine clippings)

2) Look back at your favorite photos (how was your hair styled?)

3) Bring a picture of your dress

4) Are you going to have a veil? If yes, bring it along!

5) Bring someone who knows you (she’ll see the furrow in your brow)

These tips will really help the artist understand what you’re looking for and gives them time to prep before your arrival.
